I particularly like the "no capos" one.

Anyone else spot the typo on 2 of the shirts? :)

Yes, tacky.

Plus, the pick box should be tiny, plush-lined, and only handle like three or four picks, max.

Phil,

If by typos you mean the Jangling Reinharts shirts, that's not a typo, it's another band.

I must confess I don't know what the hell Eliot said though.

I'm guessing Elliot meant the 'pick box', also known as just a plain-ass box with the Selmer logo slapped on the top:

The typo is 'du' should be 'de'...

Jack.

Are you sure, Jack?

As far as I know it was "Le Hot Club de France" and so "Quintette du ..." would be correct.

faire de la musique

faire du sport (de+le = du)

You're right...I was looking at an old advertisement I've got on my wall here; that uses 'de', but most everything else is 'du'-my ad has the typo. I stand by my comments on the pick box, though!

Best,
Jack.

I know the guy that does the Django stuff on cafe press. Is the box really that bad?

Cheers,
Josh

Hi, Josh!

No, I'm sure they're fine-I wasn't trying to bash your pal so much as point out how willing to buy most Djangophiles are; anything even tangentially related will find a buyer. A quick look around my own place reveals more books than I'll ever get through, too many guitars, piles of CDs I bought for a single tune, an Archtop Eddy Selmer pin (I hate pins, but bought 3), framed advertisements, old LPs, stacks of videos, etc. Nearly half of my desktop computer's memory is devoted to gypsy jazz-it's a sickness!

But what a sickness.

All best,
Jack.

Jack- That description of your place sounds remarkably like mine. I learned French after getting into this music. You're right what a sickness!!
Keep Swingin!
