wow , i didnt even know videos of him existed. His right hand style is really impressive , how he plays so well and fast with just his thumb. Many thanks andreas. Any clue if there are more out there?

That clip of Impressions is an excerpt from Wes' Belgium concert which can be found in its entirety on a DVD entitled "Legends of Jazz Guitar Vol. 1".

Also, if you look around, you also may be able to find another DVD, "Jazz 625," of Wes and his quartet at London's BBC studio. The majority of this video is also included on the Legends of Jazz Guitar DVD series (vols 1 & 2).

if a person were to have a bit torrent client, they would be able to download all three volumes of the classic jazz guitar videos, including a tonne of Wes videos, Kenny Burrell, Joe Pass, Jim Hall, Barney Kessel, Tal Farlow, Herb Ellis, Grant Green, Pat Martino, etc. etc. Not that I recommend doing something so illegal.....
