Looking for views of pliage!!!

Post by tonewheelkev »

Hi All
....as it says, I'm looking for some decent views of/along the pliage line, and was hoping that anyone with a quality instrument out there might be prepared to share some pics?!

I'm in the process of building a Selmer type guitar, and am using the RF Charle (807) plan.

The position of the pliage line is clearly shown....but is it a discrete bend, or a more gentle curve? Does the 'bend' diminish as it reaches the edges of the lower bout.....would make sense...!?

Have both Collins & Charle books....with some superb pics, but not much of the detail I 'think' I'm looking for...!

I'm at: kevinconlon@talktalk.net .....if anyone wants to reply off-list.

Thanks
Kev

It's a gentle curve, not a cranked neapolitan mandolin style top.
