New model nylon string Selmer-Maccaferri type guitar

Post by maruejouls »

Hi everyone

For those who don't know me, my name is Godefroy Maruejouls, i am a guitar maker based in London. I specialise in Selmer type guitars and nylon stings.

This post is to let you know that I have a new model in my Selmer-Maccaferri type range. It is a nylon string D hole, the design is based on the original Maccaferri guitar (which was nylon strung, refer to Francoi Charles book for more infos). The neck of the guitar pictured is narrower than a conventional classical guitar, which makes it easier to solo and play jazz chords but lets you enjoy the sound of nylon strings.

I hope this is of interest and would be glad to read your comments.

Thanks

I tried this guitar at Godefroy's workshop, it's really great.
