Shep, talk to Alain about the neck join. That doesn't sound too difficult a request. ---------------------------------------------------...

I prefer Dell'Arte strings, but I've played Argentine and they sound nice too. It's been my experience that the Argentine strings sound greatest the first two days you play them, then they seem to die pretty quickly. My Dell'Arte strings, though, consistantly sound great and last longer. In CA, the ...

I am the happy owner of a Dell'Arte Anouman 14f and just yesterday got to meet John and Alain in San Diego. Alain played my guitar and it sounded great, and from what I saw of the 3 year old guitars, my axe is gonna sound, look, and feel even better and better the more I play it. Alain and John are ...

I went to the Santa Cruz show a few days after Yoshi's... it was incredible! I closed my eyes during Minor Swing and heard Reinhardt and Grappelli.

Django wall posters?

Hi everyone, I recently watched Swing Kids on DVD and saw a few nice posters of Django Reinhardt in the kid's Hot Club room. There's this great one with the "Swing Records" label on it, and other one billing a show with the Quintette du Hot Club de France. I've looked everywhere online and...

Dell'Arte

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Dell'Arte Anouman (D-shaped soundhole) guitar and just wanted to share my experience with you. This baby sounds great, and I've seen and heard some fantastic-sounding Maccaferri-style guitars.
