Hey guys I don't want to stir things up but while were on the subject. I agree we should have more diverse voices in our government, but we will not be able to do that unless we drastically change our political process. Duvergier's Law (the only Law in Political Science) In a First past the post ele...

I agree Jack he will be missed. Seeing all the old footage that was being thrown around the last few days really reminded me how funny he was. My Grandpa used to let me stay up late and watch him. Although he went left the show when I was pretty young I can always remember his stuff.

NWilkins, you're very correct. Although neither of those things are close. I am going to move a few things around and get the book. I don't think I have ever heard Django playing it I have been listening the Phillipe Nedjar album "Shadow of your smile" and I love the version on that album....

Improvisation No 5?????

Anyone have a transcription of this great solo piece? I know it is in Unnaccompanied Django, but because of monetary restraints related to school I can't really swing the whole book. Any help would be most appreciated.

I agree with Carter I should have read the original post a little closer. the slight upstroke should be on the bottom E and A strings. Michael Horowitz has on on-line lesson that breaks down the Pompe very nicely and even shows some regional variations. I found it extreemely usefull. and for 5 bucks...
