Ovation Pre-amp batteries

I find that the 9v batteries that I need for the Ovation pre-amp, i.e. the 6LR61 in the UK, are now slightly too large to fit into the slot in the guitar. Do any Ovation owners here know an alternative?

Re: Le Q: Tuesday the 3rd

Le Q used to have a house guitar which you could have used. It was stolen and I don't know if it's been replaced. Why not email Sylvia on ?

Sorry Captain but nobody lives here anymore.
Just us and the occasional tumbleweed rolling down Main Street.

It's not Django, but someone here may come along and tell you who it actually is. Maybe the person playing on the track.

Unfortunately there are no good GJ players in the Brighton area. They're all in Battersea.

Re: AER Compact amp

I bought a new Compact Mobile 4 years ago, and I'm pleased to see that somebody else wants one. Mine's not for sale, but it's reassuring to know that there are two of us. :D

For a beginner the Robin Nolan books are the fastest way to get started, then complete the set with Robin's Gig Book. With those you will have all of the basics, most of the chords, and all of the basic solos for most of the songs.
