things are good here, but busy for the same reasons as Jack. I don't spend as much time on the internet anymore, and I sort of stepped away from the GJ world for a little while, which I think was good to get some perspective :)

I think Bireli Lagrene has really started a trend of incorporating a "smooth jazz" aesthetic on gypsy jazz ballads these days and I don't like it.

the guitar solo is excellent, but the feel during the melody is pretty schmaltzy.
