Re: Schertler DYN-G or Basik wanted

Hi Tim

I bought a Schertler Basik set a year ago and haven't really used it. It contains the pickup, the putty and the battery box/adapter.

I had planned to put on my local Gumtree site at £55.00, would you be interested ?

A New Guitar on the Block

Found this a couple of days ago. LAG make great value acoustics and now they've introduced a gypsy model. You can get this for 169 euros plus 15 euros postage which comes to 184 euros - or £157 as it appeared on my credit card. Here are the relevant links - I think these may give Gitanes and the oth...

Ha ha Teddy.
I hope my assumption of irony/sarcasm/tongue firmly in cheek on your part is correct. If not then I will never darken this forum again.

Re: Cloughtoberfest-Irelands first Gypsy jazz festival

Rimm I wish you all the best for the Festival - wish I could make it over, maybe next year. Ignore the ramblings of the eejit, they obviously don't get out enough and be thankful that they prefer Samois. I second the proposal that a moderator should prevent anymore postings from that person - they'r...

I so wish this had been posted earlier but I've already booked - no cancellation - accomodation in Fontainebleau. Have a great time with your guests and I think it's very kind of you to offer to help the Campees at Barbeau - I stayed there once and it's "interesting" to say the least. I ha...

Re: Argentines

I'm with Pinkgary - go with Phillipe Bosset. If you keep an eye out on t'internet you can get them for about £8 or £9 and they do last longer - typically for me three times as long as Argies and you don't get the unravelling G string problem. Sound wise they're very similar to Argies and work well o...
