Re: Religious Buffoonerie - Stop the Insanity

At the service in the National Cathedral, a Methodist minister practically apologized to God (or was it to the Jewish and heathen
dignitaries in the congregation?) for praying in the name of Jesus.

Phew! SOOOOOOOOOOO glad to be a heathen.......and not get involved in any of this BS. 8)

Ah '91 and '92............my first two virginal years at Samois!! They were REALLY GREAT years and , of course took LOADS of photos and have just spent the last hours happily re-living those tumescent times, but alas, not a single shot of the top, nay even the side, of a brick.

[ Did they ever make one from "Bakerlite" i'm sure i played one. ] Mario Maccaferri, after leaving the Selmer company, pissed off to the Ewe Ess Ayy and made around twenty trillion 'plastic' guitars and banjos from some dubious sounding material called Dow 'Styron' ...........................

I've just received another email from Savarez promising to send 5 full sets of 'modified' strings for test purposes. They insist that mine is an 'isolated' case. I replied with a link to this topic so maybe you'll all hear something in a few months. Meantime I suggest that all of you that have had p...

Rhythm should always be an accompaniament, driving but lightly played. I'd go as far to say there's no place for aggession of any sort in this music; passion, yes. 8)

Dugain pcks are great. I had a couple some years ago and got so used to the index finger/thumb cut outs that I can't play with any other style. I've made a Wegen material one in the same style; though don't particularly like the material, has a too plasticky sound for my taste. The horn would be the...

Poor old tortoise..................actually it's turtle shell, normally Hawksbill, protected and rightly so. I once came across a dead one (not in the biblical sense of course, though necrophilia is not without it's supporters and hey, if it swings) washed up on a beach in the Mediterranean, it was ...
