Re: Wanted - Saga Gitane DG 250 M

I don't have one for sale, but must say that I'm thrilled with mine. It's a brillant guitar and a great value. Have you considered buying one through djangobooks.com in the US? Excellent service and prices.

A very interesting web-site, and guitars. I suspect we'll hear more about these guitars as their distribution grows. Their general information regarding the care of guitars is exceptionally well done and informative. They certainly look like serious contenders.

GitanePlayer:

From that video I'd say that the UK will be loosing a real talent in the genre. You sound fabulous, and the band is brilliant.

The guitar is great.

Please rethink the proposition.

Cheers, Ian: I tried the D'Addario strings as well hoping they would solve the consistency problems of the Argentines. Unfortunately, I found that they were too stiff and just didn't have the gypsy sound we crave. They had a odd way of dying after 2 weeks which rather sneaks up on you. Most player u...

I'll add my 2 p . I have a Gitane John Jorgenson model DG-300 with Argentine 0.10's, played with an AK pick, or Wegen. 3.5 or Wegen 5. It sounds fine to me, and to those who have heard it. If you've heard Jorgenson in concert, you probably have heard him play one as well. Having said that, a Toyota ...

Your condition could be serious. It sounds like a problem that I had about 6 years ago. This is how I prevented more pain and got 98% relief. It worked for me. I still do many of the exercises on a daily basis. Try to get a copy of this book from Amazon, or your local bookseller. Cheers. End Your Ca...

Nice playing, and a splendid guitar. So much for maple guitars being too harsh - fabulous tone. Where does the maker work?
British?
