Hello all,

Over the past few years I've always been dipping in and out and reading the fascinating posts on this forum. I thought it's about time I got registered and offered my thoughts and opinions :)

So I'm just introducing myself really: I'm a Selmer Maccaferri-style guitar maker based in South East London, and I've recently moved into a workshop at Cockpit Arts in Creekside (if anyone knows where that is...) I'm currently building gypsy jazz guitars and I thought I would share my website with you: http://www.alexbishopguitars.com. I also play in a gypsy jazz trio and on top of the usual standards we've often taken a shot at expanding the gypsy jazz repertoire in different ways: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKWMUluYJZo.

That's all really... if anyone is in the London area my doors are always open to visitors! Especially those who fancy a jam on my instruments :)
