Although "insure" is TECHNICALLY acceptable, "ensure" is actually more so. Picky? Yes. But I didn't want anyone to think our fearless leader was posting in your stead.

[quote="djangology"]there is a difference between just being "funny" and then ganging up against my country... quote]

Not your country, old boy, Just George W. himself. Over here in old blighty, many of us think that george's best friend is just as worthy of satire. Problem is, it's Tony's facial gestures and mannerisms which get laughed at, and it's a bit difficult to 'quote' them on this forum. There is one quotation, however, that IS worthy of note, and it will come back to haunt him again and again...

'Things can only get better!'.

Happy new year!!

...and the Daily Express, The Sun, The Daily Mirror, The Daily Star and others. These people do come in handy in the event of a major war, however!

*SIGH* all we Yanks have is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart!

Jon was recently awarded the best news/informational show in broadcasting -- seeing how it is a fake news show, the award constituted amajor slap in the face for ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX, MSNBC and all the other major broadcast news outlets. Their reaction? Fairly typical: they didn't bother covering it!
