Need help with a technique?

Postby murillo » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:53 pm

Could someone help me with what this guy is doing about 1 min in to the song. I know that it has something to do with his right hand, but what`s the technique? It sounds really nice.

Hi there!
That's a good ol' gypsy sweep, 3 down strokes (G,B,E) and 1 up, the last down and 1 up are on the same string (top E). pull up quick on the up stroke to keep the phrase momentum going. Triads will never be the same again!
hope that helps.

Thanks I will start practicing immediately. It sounds really cool, and I remember hearing this technique somewhere else.

Best regards
