I'll have a review of this up at www.djangology.net before long...keep an eye out! It looks to be a great DVD from a great player and teacher, which is a rare combination...

best,
Jack.

i bought this dvd and can say it's the best dvd out there for instructional gypsy jazz for rhythm guitar. it has little to no solo information, but who cares, that's not what it's meant for! and the information for rhythm guitar is invaluable. easily worth the asking price.

I just bought this DVD.
It arrived from Canada very promptly but has no soundtrack so it's of no use at all.
I'm waiting to see how promptly they send me a replacement.

I emailed Wayne Nakamura and he responded within a few hours offering to replace the DVD.
At his suggestion I tried it on another DVD player and it worked fine. The problem seems to be that it won't play on my laptop using Windows Media Player. It will play on my laptop though using XP Media Centre so problem solved.
I've gone through it quickly and it looks excellent.
Thanks to Wayne for his prompt response.

I got my copy today and although I've only had time for a quick skim through it really does look to be the dog's dangly bits.
Can't wait to get stuck in.

... and at Amazon, and Play.com, and sometimes direct from the artist, and from hundreds of other places.
