For Sale - 2007 Christelle Caillot Oval Hole

Postby GitanePlayer » Mon Nov 09, 2009 6:07 pm

Hey there!

As I'm not really in the Gypsy Jazz 'scene' anymore, I figured it's time to sell my guitar.

Beautiful 2007 Christelle Cailott oval hole fitted with a bigtone pickup. This guitar is LOUD and has really opened up since I bought it. Anyone who knows me, knows that I play these guitars pretty hard... this one is no exception and has been 'played in' . It was 'born' in Granada, Spain, 2007, but since then Christelle has moved production to Paris.

There are a couple of tiny dings here and there and some surface scratches, but nothing major - the guitar is in overall great shape. This guitar is exceptionally light: European spruce top, Indian rosewood laminated back and sides, super thick ebony fretboard with Selmer style dot markers, walnut neck, French polished finish. Comes with a case ( shaped covered polystyrene type )

Endorsed by Angelo, Chris Campion ...

Here's some useful links:

2600 euros if you want a new one!

I'm looking for £1700 o.n.o

I've got a decent sound clip of the guitar recorded with a condenser mic, gentle compression and a touch of reverb... no EQ, just waht went into the mic... mail me and I can send a copy.

Cheers,

Mike.

GitanePlayer:

From that video I'd say that the UK will be loosing a real talent in the genre. You sound fabulous, and the band is brilliant.

The guitar is great.

Please rethink the proposition.

I'm taking time out fellas! If I get bored of sitting on a stool and singing bland turgid ballads littered with 'truck drivers' gear changes', then I'll make my return...

until then amigos... X

Bloody hell! You mean you've joined a Westlife tribute band!?
They may be drinkers, Robin, but they're still human beings.
