I like everybody else uses the AER compact 60 - and very good it is too. I also use a Headway SK60 which I realy like. It has better reverbs and EQ but is a tad heavier and bigger. It is however a lot cheaper.
Hobgoblin shops will do you a deal I am certain.

My small bodied Hodson D-hole has a Kent Armstrong magnetic pickup and a Bigtone going through an inbuilt Fishman blender. Sound is excellent and variable from electric archtop to full acoustic. Hear it on Youtube (search Kliphuis Mackenzie) from a gig last year.

I also use various Stimers on my Gitanes and Duponts into the AER. I used this setup with Tim Kliphuis recently and with a (pa company provided) condensor mic proved his favourite sound for concerts -more so than the Hodson I used with him previously.
Not a great lover of Bigtones on their own BTW but a SansAmp acoustic DI helps.

The Schertler I used with Jorgenson rarely comes out now. I seem to be going through an 'electric' period!!

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history, with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
