has anyone ever read the 6 book series of fantasy books by Stephen R. Donaldson called the "Chronicles of Thomas Covenant"?

in the books, the anti-hero is a guy named "Berek Halfhand" who is missing the last two fingers on one of his hands, sorta like Django.... i just thought it was cool because hes the only guy i have ever heard of, sorta like Django, who is missing the last two fingers on one hand...

aye 'gology...the white-gold weilder. was his name really Berek Half Hand though?

Puts to mind Beren One-Hand from the Silmarillion. Also, Stephen King's gunslinger lost his first two fingers....sorta in the same fiction finger comparison thing u're thinkin' bout there....sorta.

If I remember right, there was a blues guy in the first half of the century who had some horrible accident with his fretting hand, lost some fingers, then learned it all again playing the other way...

Lefty something, maybe?
