DEFINITIVE RECORDINGS?

Postby borderglider » Fri Jul 15, 2011 7:58 pm

Hi y'all,
I love Django's music and am trying to educate myself as to the best versions of his recordings. I have the Anthology triple CD but I just wondered if there is a general concensus as to the best collection of definitive recordings? There are a lot of poorly recorded CDs out there - I realise that much of Django's best period was at a time when recording techniques were fairly basic.

Any advice appreciated.

I think the Integrale collection is the most complete compilation of all recorded work, it's twenty double cd's.
