Newbie - Django Festival - France 2011 - any advice ?

Postby glewi » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:57 am

Hi

I would like to take my father-in-law over to France next year (July 2011 ?) to the Django Festival.

I have never been before and would appreciate any advice including travel, accommodation and the actual festival itself !

Many thanks

Hey!

To be honest the best thing you can do is just go straight to the official website. There is all the relevant information on not only the festival but also accomodation, transport, tarifs etc.

As many people here know, book EARLY! It gets very tricky to find a place the later you leave it!

No offence intended but the offiicial site is not very helpful and isn't usually updated in hurry - currently it's still showing 2010 festival details and it's not that great for details on accomodation etc.

A better bet would be to do a search on this forum or over on Djangobooks - you'll find loads of posts.

Or PM me and I'll forward some info
