Well at the very least it's a nicer tone, if nothing else. 8)

No worries! But whilst we're on the subject, here's another Chez Jaquet.
Not me playing the melody, i hasten to add. That's me sidekick Paul, with myself on rhythm.
I love the note he plays at 2.39/2.40.

Ok guys, i've got 3 last tunes that i don't know. Can anybody identify them?
I'd particularly like to know what the Patrick Saussois/Alma Sinti tune is.

It's been fun, but my 200th & final video has just gone up.

Hey Cap'n,

The Alma Sinti tune is Chicken Head, off La Roulotte.
Thanks again for putting these up! You really came back in a big way this last month!

best,
Jack.

Thanks Jack!
There may be more eventually, but i've just about run out of footage, & 200 seemed like a good place to stop.
I do have more Bireli stuff, like the rest of that fusion gig at the Bottom Line, & a concert of Bireli aged about 16/17 with Philip Catherine, but the quality is increasingly poor.
I could of course rip all the official dvds i've got, but with the exception of that Bireli/Babik release, which is pretty rare over here, i decided not to bother, as other people have already done that, so i decided to concentrate on footage that wasn't commercially available. :)
