Djangology Chords

I figured out the melody and basic chords and was just wondering how everyone else does it.

I'm not sure where you learned yours, but there are some changes here on the site: http://www.hotclub.co.uk/java/djangolo.html

Basically, it's A/C#, Cm6, G/B, Bbm6 to open, which gives you a nice descending bassline.
Here's what's written on the Tunes page:
AMaj Cm6 GMaj Bbm6 Am6 D7 G6/9 Rpt
// // // // // // ////

Ab6/9 A6/9
//// ////

AMaj Cm6 GMaj Bbm6 Am6 D7 G6/9
// // // // // // ////

The G6/9, you can play this way:
-----5
-----5
-----4
-----5
-----5
----(3)

Instead of Amaj start it of with a "barker" (think its called diminished shape) :

-----
-----5
-----4
-----5
-----4
-----

for the G6/9 thing like

-----
-----3
-----4
-----4
-----
-----3

and maybe run in F#(same shape) F E7/9(hendrix chord) 1st time through.does that make sense?probly not.

lots of fun to be had with this tune but i dont know all the chord names and dont have time to write em all in numbers. :wink:

One bar A/C# or Adom (as Munkhaus mentions)
One bar Cm6/Cdim/D7b9
One bar G/B or Gdom
One bar Bbm6/Bdim
One bar Am7
One bar Ddom
Two bars Gmaj6(9)

B section:
Half bar Abmaj6(9)
Half bar Eb7
One bar Abmaj6(9)
Half bar Amaj6(9)
Half Bar E7
One Bar A maj6(9)

The way Jack has mentioned is the way it is traditionally played with the descending bassline.
