You can get the video i think on EBay. im not sure if anyone has done a transcription for that little restaurant scene yet. has anyone?

Tonight I played through the Tchavalo "Lady Be Good" powertab transcription that is on this site and its amazing. The guy that made it did a good job. Most of that transcription is really difficult to play. I have more and more respect for Tchavalo every day.

The thing Tchavolo is playing in that restaurant scene is on the soundtrack to the movie - it is called "arc en ciel" (which means rainbow) - and I don't think anyone has done a transcription, but it sounds pretty easy to figure out (and not quite so easy to play).

There's one version in L'Esprit Manouche...I'll let you know if I spot a free one, though.

Though they have the same name, The tune Arc-en-Ciel in L'Esprit Manouche, is not the same tune as tchavolo's solo performance in swing.
By the way hi from a french newcomer on this forum !

Yeah, last night as I was thumbing through my copy of L'Esprit Manouche I got really excited until I threw the disc on and realized it wasn't the same at all.

Welcome Ramsezaz
Nice to have a French speaker on the forum. Before long we will be getting you to translate the French tutor books for us.

All the best
