I think Anniversary Song is so called because the first line of lyrics is something like " I remem - ber the night , when we met etc....

Does anyone have the provenance of "Hungaria" handy?

I once played with a violinist, now deceased, of Django's generation who said that Hungaria was a tune called 'Angry'; 'Angry, you make me angry', and that Django was alleged to have said in his 'French' accent, "Let's play that tune 'Hungry' ", hence Hungary/Hungaria. Truth or myth? Je ne sais pas!

No idea if this is true, but I love that story. I may never hear that song again without thinking

Angry. . . you make me angry

"Oh, how we danced on the night we were wed
We vowed our true love, though a word wasn't said
The world was in bloom, there were stars in the skies
Except for the few that were there in your eyes"

Bricktop was a club owner who would often bounce unruley customers out of the place herself..And Vipers dream is about smoking weed. Thats all I can contribute
