hi sorry for the unknowledge but i ve never found a version of the original mntagne st genevieve played by django. someone have??when does it have been recorded?where can i find it?

Hi Claude
Django never recorded it---we're not sure he even composed it--but it sounds like a Django tune to me
Matelot's and Bouquets version(you can hear Bousquet's at http://www.djangostation.com )are the 'nearest' we get to 'authentic'
performances of this great valse.

thanx stub,great tune also if my 56k is suffering.there are a lot of albums whit this tune included like 'schmitts or moreno versions ? where can i order it?
