"Le Tien"-composer?

This tune is beautifully played (and written?) by Grappelli on a gorgeous recording from 1972.
Does anyone know its origins?--it sounds almost classical-- i need to know.
Grappelli plays wonderfully on this recording as does the underrated guitarist Pierre Cavalli;Cavalli has a kind of late Django tone with the addition of some Barney Kessel like 'double stop work'--really nice playing!
Has any violinist(classical as well)ever had such impeccable intonation as Grappelli???...i doubt it.
As far as i know it hasn't been rereleased on CD--there's also a superb version of John Lewis' "Django".
