C'est Magnifique

Hearing Carter and Co. (aka Swing Gitan) swing this Cole Porter tune on their new disc (great stuff, by the way, and Carter-it's gotten more than a few bites at the theater; hope it translates into some change for you guys) has reawakened my interest in it. Specifically, I read that Matelot recorded it, and I'm wondering if someone can tell me where I might find his version.

For now, though, I'm happy with the boys from Chicago-it's not a tune I'm that familiar with, but that arrangement on Caravan is a stone cold knockout.

Thanks,
Jack.

It's a great tune - that chord progression is really swinging. Tchavolo Swing (not the one from Latcho Drom) uses it, and it's of course very similar to tunes like Django's Tiger/Mano.
