APPEL DIRECT

Postby emicad » Tue Aug 24, 2004 7:04 am

I'm looking for a complete tab of appel direct with Django's solo, i have written one by ear, but i have problems with the part of chicken playing, can someone help me? it's one of my favourite tunes, and a good exercise for right and left hand.

There's a version here:

I'm not sure how thorough it is, but it's probably worth a look.

thank you jack, it's good, there are some errors in the intro but it's perfect, it's a simple piece to do by ear, but my problem remain the correct picking of the chiken playing patter, after the first solo, you know what i mean? i make you an example in a different fret.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --
- - - - - 5 - - - - 4 - - - - 3 - ecc. ecc.
- - - 3 - - - - 3 - - - - 3 - - -
- 3 - - - - 3 - - - - -3- - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --

i've used this pick pattern but i'm not sure it's correct

two downstrokes (i don't find the symbol n the keyword ahahah) for the first two notes ( on strings A and D) and an upstroke in the G string)
it's more difficolt of the classic lick used in two strings (I know you know) but for me it's the best way. It's correct for you? how Django do this pattern?
thank you for all
